Dr Tony Rahman BMBCh, MA, DIC, PhD, FRCP (Oxon)


Dr. Tony Rahman graduated in Medicine and Physiological Sciences from Christ Church, Oxford, UK (1986-1992).

He was awarded Membership of The Royal College in 1995, Doctor of Philosophy in Medicine in 2003 (Imperial College, London) and appointed as a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, London in 2008.

His further specialist training has included, Institute of Liver Studies & Transplantation, King's College, Royal Postgraduate Hospital, Department of Hepatology & Gastroenterology at Royal Free Hospital and St. Thomas' London. 

He is accredited as a Consultant Specialist in Adult Gastroenterology & Hepatology, Internal & Critical Care Medicine by the Royal College of Physicians and Royal College of Anaesthetists (UK).

He is now a Consultant Physician in Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Critical Care Medicine at St. George's & Queen Mary's Hospital, London.

He is able to offer expertise in the surveillance and management of gastrointestinal and liver cancer, acute and chronic liver & pancreatic diseases and functional bowel disorders such as irritable bowel syndrome and reflux.
