
Dr
Sarah Clark is a Consultant Physician and
Gastroenterologist at St George’s Hospital and
Medical School, having been appointed in 2003. Dr
Clark undertook her medical training in Nottingham,
completing her specialist training in
gastroenterology in London.
Her
practice encompasses all aspects of general
gastroenterology and Hepatology, Dr Clark having a
particular clinical interest in Hepatology,
including the investigations of abnormal liver
function tests, the management of chronic liver
disease, hepatobiliary disease (both benign and
malignant) and viral hepatitis. Dr Clark also
participates in the general internal medicine rota
at St George’s Hospital.
Her
Doctorate of Medicine was carried out at Kings Liver
Unit, investigating insulin resistance in acute
liver failure, this predominantly being undertaken
on the Liver Intensive Care Unit.
Dr
Clark is skilled in both diagnostic and therapeutic
endoscopy and colonoscopy, and has a particular
interest in Endoscopic Retrograde
Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP). |
