Pancreatic cancer

Pancreatic cancer is a cancer that is found anywhere in the pancreas.

Pancreatic cancer may not cause any symptoms or can cause jaundice (the whites of your eyes or your skin turn yellow, itchy skin, dark urine and pale stools), weight loss, abdominal pain or back pain.  The investigations and treatment of pancreatic cancer, which includes the options of surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy, will depend on where the cancer is in the pancreas, the size of the cancer, if the cancer has spread outside the pancreas and a person’s general health.
